This is a well rounded and exciting career opportunity for a Corporate Project Engineering who enjoys working with both internal staff including the Executive Leadership team, corporate and branch level employees along with external vendors and contractors.

 

The Corporate Project Engineer Will be responsible for making any changes to to the corporate complex including infrastructure, space planning, ergonomic layout, space optimization, energy efficiency and safety as a few of their responsibilities.

 

The Corporate Project Engineer will also support Distribution operations nationally to review their layout and request active changes for better utilization and efficiency of space including automation and distribution racking systems, aisle layout and optimization, right hand stacking capacities, and packaging areas

 

The role will also be responsible for working with outside contractors for capital projects, space and capacity utilization, and working directly with customers to define on site work specifications and requirements. The Corporate Project Engineer will also help the distribution branches with ordering needed equipment for their facilities such as forklifts and keep record of all the company leases for the distributions centers nationally and ensuring the corporate truck fleet of 30 vehicles are maintained properly on a regular schedule.

 

The corporate Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio is where this individual will be based with occasional travel to the distribution facilities throughout North America.

 

For consideration, candidates must have the following experience and education:

 

  • Associates Degree Minimum or equivalent work experience. Bachelors Degree Preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate of facility or Building Engineering Role focusing on infrastructure, facilities, layout, space optimization and efficiency, some TurboCad design review for space planning.
  • Experience Supporting both corporate, plant and Distribution Center operations.
